Dr. Okasi’s education and training in gynecology and women’s health began at the prestigious Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. She then attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City, graduating with Distinction in Research. Afterward she completed her OB/GYN residency at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland where she was awarded the Resident Research Forum Award.

On the personal front, Dr. Okasi was born into a family of five girls, which has helped fuel her strong passion for women’s health and helping each woman live her best life. She is the founder of the OB/GYN practice Women’s Wellness, MD.

Dr. Okasi is devoted to giving back to the community-at-large. She is the Founder and Director of the Adolescent Health Education and Development Program (AHEAD) for teens. She also worked as a Maternal and Child Health Volunteer at Royal Victoria Hospital, Banjul, Gambia, and has participated in medical mission trips to Africa.
